Losing A Day

Have you ever lost a day? Maybe due to illness. You didn't get anything done. You neglected to do something. It snowed and you couldn't leave the house.

I lost 6 days. I had a bowel obstruction and went on for surgery. I was in an induced coma and woke up 6 days later! Like what? I asked the Nurse what Princess Kate had. A boy or a girl? She said a boy. Where have you been? In a coma. The nurse apologized.

I had to learn to walk again. I forgot my son was there and my mother was there. Six days of my life I will never forget. I went forward. At least I wasn't in a coma for a year or something. I guess 6 days wouldn't have made me a millionaire or a celebrity. I thank God I got to come back. I live each day as it comes. Don't take each day for granted. Trust me. We can't get the time back. Just be happy and thankful. Don't squander time. Pray to God.
