Emily Dickinson, Spring and Mornings
Prompt: "The sun just touched the morning. The morning, happy thing supposed he come to dwell and liked what would be all spring. " Emily Dickinson
Joy asked how we feel about mornings.
I am not a morning person. I worked midnights for years and mornings were my bedtime. I get up in the morning. I don't feel well. It will take me 2 hours to feel better. I take my meds and have breakfast. I take care of my kitty. I give her fresh water, take care of her box. My husband is up before me and feeds her. If I have to go to the Doctor, shopping or Church, I need to get ready. It is hard for me but I pray and manage. Winter makes me blah but with spring, things get easier. Spring makes you feel happy. Spring days are nice but I will never like mornings.
