I'm No Beauty Queen, I'm Just Me

Okay. I was in Beauty Pageants in High School but I didn't win the title. I do have a State Finalist Plaque. When I was in high school, I wanted to be beautiful and be in activities and I accomplished a lot. I earned everything I got when it came to extra activities and at my job in Nursing.
I am older. I still dress nice and wear nice jewelery and hats but anymore, who am I trying to impress? I love God and Jesus and want to do right by the Savior and Lord. I have been married for over 30 years so being a Beauty Queen isn't important. Just getting through every day and when we get older, we have a health issue or 2. We go through a lot in life. I am just me. I want to love everyone and be a good person and make it to Heaven. I try to be content to be just me. My Beauty Queen days are behind me. I am just me. A good person and hope to improve as I become a good Christian.
