The Old Rugged Cross
Prompt: The Old Rugged Cross Song Write what this song means to you.

The old rugged cross. Jesus died for our sins and this song is a reminder. Jesus dying on the cross saves us. Jesus is our way to Heaven. Great Grandma used to play this song on the piano. I can't think of this song without thinking of her. I hate thinking of Jesus dying on the cross but we know it had to be done and it has special meaning. Jesus died for us. The cross is a symbol and reminder of this. I have a cross on my rear view mirror and it means a lot to me. You see a cross, you see Jesus. It means he is with us now and always. We will exchange our cross for a crown someday and I look forward to that. I wear my cross bracelet whenever I go out.
