1 1/2 oz absinthe
1 1/2 oz Midori
Splash of lime juice
Lime for garnish
Notes:
This is also known as The Green-Eyed Monster, a line from Shakespeare. Shakespeare of course inspired Star Trek writers. But this name is in honor of the scene, mentioned in the blog intro above, where Scotty defeats an alien by drinking him under the table. They're pretty toasty when the following dialogue occurs:
Alien: "What is it?"
Scotty: "Well, it's, um..." *sniff* "It's green."
Also, this is the result of me going, "Hm. Absinthe is green. Midori is green. I wonder what happens when you mix them?"
