This is inspiring. In High School, I wanted to be in every activity there was. Drama Club, Junior Miss, Miss Indiana Teenager, Paper Staff, Annual Staff, Newspaper Reporter. I did these things but I didn't get chosen for one play. I didn't win the title of Miss Indiana Teenager but I was a finalist. I had a few dates. I achieved a lot. We do get disappointments.
I had a lot of those. Like my Nursing job and health issues, a son misbehaving but he became a Psychologist and did great. Be yourself. I tried to be myself but you always felt you had to be like your friend who was a Pom Pom Girl so I got in a lot of activities.
I married well. I am not rich but no one around her lives like Downton Abbey or a rich family. I live around farmers. I get everything I want. I worked at a nursing job. I am a Christian. I am no longer jealous of anyone. I have been like this for 26 years now, being not jealous and appreciating life. It is okay to be yourself as long as you are a good person. You know you did your best. This is how I see life. Be thankful for what you have and who you are.
