Reading From The Bible

Prompt: The prompt says our cell phone is dead. We are visiting a sick friend in the hospital who is sleeping. We read the Bible. What do we read and why?

I would read Ruth. I admire her and Naomi. Ruth loved her mother-in-law and wanted to be with her. Ruth and Naomi were treated well being around men working in a field. Ruth found another husband and this had a happy ending.

I might read Psalms and Proverbs i love the philosophy and thoughts.

I might read Luke. I love reading about Jesus's birth and life. These Bible chapters woukd keep me busy.
