A Biblical Holiday
Prompt: Write about a Biblical Holiday.
Holidays weren't celebrated in the Bible like they are now. Jewish holidays. I have heard of them. Christmas is the one I know. We celebrated Jesus's Birth. I love reading about Jesus's Birth and his time on earth. I like putting up a tree, the decorations and gifts. The wise men bought Jesus gifts when he was born. The little drummer boy played his drum. We honor Jesus by celebrating his Birthday. I like getting my Nativity scene out. I love singing Christmas songs.
I like to think about the first Christmas. I would like to have followed the star and seen baby Jesus. we praise him. I go to Christmas Communion. Christmas Communion at my Church is one on one. The church is lit by candles and you greet your minister and take a seat and pray. Spend time with God an Jesus. When you are ready, you pray with the Minister and have Communion. It is peaceful. I look forward to this every year on Christmas Eve.
Christmas. It is Jesus's holiday and Birthday. It is my favorite. I am thankful Jesus came to earth for a lot of reasons.
