crows harass eagle
surrounding his gliding path ...
he flies to the clouds
underground church with
poor and suffering Christians ...
few lukewarm members
blue-sharp ice cutting
into the swish of willows
across the spring night
warm love to cold heart...
keeping power to forgive
in hate's icy field
leaves are hanging on
during the violent wind...
the remnant is few
morning walk captures
sun rays pouring through clearing...
forest cathedral
deep in the Scriptures...
shining from the sacred page
is a ray of Son
created to live ...
what a chilling spectacle
dying without Christ
