the chase is thrilling
cat toying with a rodent...
making his last run
damp dark cement cell ...
strapped inmate on steel table
pleading for prayer
hungary visitor
searching moonlit garbage cans
for something to eat
wherever the child...
the hurting cry of hunger
keeps sounding the same
eastern winds blowing
all nature mourns in showers
trees weep on their banks
once loudly proclaimed
now resting covered with rust ...
my testimony
two waves of movement
walking the quiet pavement ...
across the silence
trees do not hide me
no effective hiding place
I am on my knees
