Squalling, needy, adorable
A bundle of joy, hope for the future.
Granny knits tiny hats, booties, blankies;
Mom is happy, sad, exhausted all at once.
Dad stands around awkwardly,
Wondering how to help.
Hopefully he's capable of changing diapers;
Families working together to raise the baby.
