Yesterdreams
Yesterday seems so long ago,
I wonder where you went
I can only watch the times flow—
Is this how life is meant?
We had such fun, you know it's true
I treasure every moment
Photographs lie in white and blue
Our time was full well spent.
This page I'm turning now is blank
I cannot find your love
Was all our good supposed to tank
Just like a mourning dove?
Seeing so much we had before
I wish you hadn't passed
For now I'm lonely, lost and more
Trapped in better days past.
