Selfie-ness
Steve always carried a selfie stick. He lived to collect selfies.
One day, he met the King of England. He insisted on throwing an arm across his shoulders, taking a selfie in front of Buckingham Palace. King Charles was polite but unenthused.
Another day, he pushed past an elderly couple to stand gleefully on the edge of the Grand Canyon. He looked into the screen he held far from his gloating face. The Grim Reaper lurked just over his shoulder, beyond the cliff’s edge.
Steve dropped the stick, spun to look behind him, and bid an abrupt farewell to selfies.
