Day 17 Bowling Green, Kentucky
We took the Coach ride and we are headed towards Bowling Green, Kentucky. I think of Glen Campbell's song. "A man sure is lucky to live in Bowling Green." Šuŋgmánitu Tȟáŋka   said I have a song for every place. He may be right. StephBee  Jellyfish~Happy New Year 2026  Witchy Yule Woman   start singing Kentucky Woman. We have a long trip ahead of us. AmyJo-me, myself, and I  Winter Wonderin' Wanderin'  pass out chocolate twinkies. WakeUpAndLive~snowflake wonder  ❄️Krista❄️  look out the window. There are some beautiful palominos and black horses. Some neat farmland we also see. We watch As You Were Sleeping. I took a nap. Before I knew it, we are in Bowling Green. We are here the American Car Museum. We get in line and buy tickets. A yellow corvair is out in front. Šuŋgmánitu Tȟáŋka is the first to go look at cars. The corvairs are nice. They have a blue one and red ones. We see all the cars. We take pictures. A man says we go out in the track outback and drive them. Šuŋgmánitu Tȟáŋka WakeUpAndLive~snowflake wonder are the first to dive. Looks like fun. I get in a red one and ❄️Krista❄️ drives a yellow one. I go 100 miles an hour. We have instructors with us. Jellyfish~Happy New Year 2026 Witchy Yule Woman StephBee pass me up. They are cranking it up. StephBee Winter Wonderin' Wanderin' . Her car has a flat tire! A man fixes it and we are driving on the track. I am Kasey Kayne!
We go to the Lost River Cave. We get in a boat. We are under a water cave. I am being brave. I think of the pirates in the one Johnny Depp pirate movie. The two pirates dressed like women carrying parasols. I laugh. Jellyfish~Happy New Year 2026 AmyJo-me, myself, and I ask me what is funny. I tell them. We laugh. ❄️Krista❄️ WakeUpAndLive~snowflake wonder pretend we are pirates. The guide shakes his head but he smiles. Water everywhere. Witchy Yule Woman Winter Wonderin' Wanderin' StephBee are in another boat. Šuŋgmánitu Tȟáŋka is by himself in a boat. He says he is King Of The World. AmyJo-me, myself, and I is another boat. I am proud pf myself. Going in an underwater cave. Cool day.
We see the butterfly exhibit. There are blue ones, turquoise ones, yellow ones, red ones, orange ones. These butterflies are so cool. One is flying over us. He is green and blue. I wonder if he escaped.
We go back to the hotel and we eat shrimp, chicken, French Fries, corn on the cob, potato soup, onion rings and chocolate brownies and blonde brownies. I am going to gamble on the howling wolf machine. I won a thousand dollars. We decided to go to bed. Another neat adventure. |
