Stephen King Quote
Prompt: "Amateurs sit and wait for inspiration. The rest of us get up and go to the page and write." Stephen King

Do you sit in front of your computer waiting for inspiration? Or do you carry a notebook and go do things, jutting down notes throughout your day and then write. Share how your writing begins.

I try to think of a story before I go to my computer to write. I get inspired by something I see on TV or read. Something that happens in my life, I get an idea. Writing from life's events, you can get a fictional story. I do. I don't carry a notebook around. There are times I think of something and write it on a tablet on the computer desk. Like I write about Elsa of Frozen. I get some ideas by rewatching the Frozen movies. Contest prompts here, I get ideas. Seeing a bumper sticker on a car might inspire me. Greeting cards words. Driving by a house and a woods, will give me ideas. I never know what will inspire me.
