Twenty-five
In twenty-five years, where will I be?
Will I be happy, healthy, wealthy, wise?
With loving family, friends around me
People who care, who mourn my demise?
Do I have my foundations prepared
For thriving in future unknown?
Have I dreamed, planned, dared?
Can I look back and say that I've grown?
Twenty-five years I've been tested and tried
Roads long, sharp, steep, foggy, unpaved
Yet I keep pressing onward, with nothing to hide
Twenty-five years on, I'll still be unfazed.
