Bath Time
Prompts day 18: Story about cleaning something, anything.
She brought the dirty dog home, not even sure what breed it was. Gathering supplies, she guided it into the bathroom and commenced. It made no protest, seemingly enjoying the attention.
First, hosing away caked mud. Then, massaging shampoo into matted fur. Rinsing off, then applying herbal conditioner. Taking special care, cleaning inside delicate ears with dabs of lotion.
She fluffed his fur dry, revealing a gorgeous husky. She trimmed claws, applied ointment on paw pads, caressed his nose with a balm stick, spritzed doggy cologne, and hugged him.
Ten seconds later, he was rolling joyfully in fresh mud outdoors.
