This song. The woman and her boyfriend aren't Royals. She mentions Queen and blood. What is this? Anne Boyelin? They are average and not Royal. The lyrics caught my attention.
The sing is interesting. She mentions diamonds and jet planes. Diamonds I like. I have a few. I would like a tiger on a gold lease. Maybe my own island.
The woman sings she is a Queen Bee. Okay. We don't have to be royals to be a Queen Bee. Balls. Cadillacs.
Royals. I think of Jackie Kennedy. I think of Downton Abbey. Princess Diana. Kate and William. Castles. I would like a castle.
Back to the song. Maybe the woman wishes she was royal. I think about it and wonder what if. It is nice to dream.
I am not royal. I live in a ranch house with one neighbor near by. Living by cornfield. I like to dress up like Lisa Douglas of Green Acres. I love pearls and bling. I enjoy dressing up. I love Kate Spade. I enjoy watching Downton Abbey. I am like a Princess or a Queen in my house. I have everything I want. I am content. I don't want my life in the news. A country girl I am. I can pretend I am royal.
This song. Really? Definitely not royal. I had a beautiful wedding. I was in beauty pageants. My husband treats me like a Queen. This is my royalty. I am happy. Just wish I was younger and had perfect health. We can enjoy life. Rich or middle class. Works for me. My take on the song? Boring. |
