Looking Ahead
I see another________day dawning
Traffic jams at sunrise got me yawning
Ain't feeling________________very wise
Lessons____________keep ‘em straight: Open mind_____________guarded heart,
Sweep hate afar, strength don't tear apart.
Plans of mice_________plans of men
Around and around and around again
Lost, found, set sail, run aground
Swim to shore, back for more,
Lighthouse beams slice,
burning all night
oil’s tight
fadeout
callback
new route
in black
year's end
year's start
glue together
or split_______apart
21 lines, 76 words. Prompt: use title "Looking Ahead."
Something akin to a song, maybe a hip-hop.
When I centered it, I noticed it was almost a wineglass, but not quite. I then added underscores to fill in the shape. It doesn't really work with Verdana font, though, so...
