Nickname

Have you ever had a nickname?

Yes. Snooker. My grandparents called me Snookers. I don't know why. For some reason, Snookers reminded me of grapes. Maybe a name for cookies. I never liked the nickname. When I was a teenager, I told my grandparents to call me by my given name. I hurt their feelings. When ever they called me Snookers, I let it go. Grandpa was sick in the hospital and called me Snookers. I left it go. He died. I am thankful for the times he called me that when I was a kid. Some good memories.
