A dash of algorithmically encouraged viewing,
fed directly to your recommendations page.
A dollop of dysfunctional personalities,
willing to do anything for attention.
Fold yourself inside a blanket on the couch,
and keep selecting "next episode," one after another.
Allow your cognitive faculties to rest,
as hours elapse in a blink.
Your real life slowly fades away until it's background noise,
the manufactured lives of others, seasoned to taste.
