Taking a break...
...from reviewing for a few minutes. I have 57 more I'm obligated to deliver before I leave for New York next Thursday. That's about six a day (tomorrow through the following Wednesday) unless I can narf a few off the total early on. I've done my six today, but hoping to squeeze in a couple more.
Started having dinner with Pat on Monday evenings. Usually, he brings his wife and kid along; tonight, I brought my wife, but his wife and kid stayed at home - Sharon had to talk to a friend.
It's good talking to someone you've known for a hell of a long time; you know what to base your conversation on. We also share a liking for odd news stories - my habit of posting them here is an offshoot of that. Yeah, I've been following that sort of thing since high school. He turned his fascination into a journalism career; for me, it's just a hobby.
Since he works 4-midnight, and I have a job with normal hours, we wouldn't ordinarily see each other, but he has Mondays off, so it works out.
And Thursday is Poker Night - no reviewing then. Friday is go out with my friends night - probably won't get much reviewing done that day, either.
