A Partridge in a Pear Tree or Six Geeses a Laying
Prompt: Which would you choose? A partridge in a pear tree or six geese a laying?
Since it is close to Christmas, I thought I would write a short passage about this prompt.
Both would be nice. A partridge would just do his own thing. Maybe he likes pears and that why he sits in a pear tree. He would be pretty to look at. When ever I think of a partridge, I think of "The Partridge Family" TV Show. I always liked Keith Partridge{David Cassidy}. I have never seen a real partridge but I would like to.
Six geese a laying. I would love to see Canadian geese babies but if you get too close, the parents will chase you away like they did when my in-laws got too close. I think they are more beautiful then white geese and I like seeing them fly over in V formations. I would love to see Canadian geese laying on their eggs. I would keep my distance and look forward to the babies hatching. I would keep "The 12 Days Of Christmas" song in mind.
