Crow And Water Pitcher
Prompt: Aesop's Fable: A crow uses his break to put pebbles in a pitcher with water in it so he can reach the water level to get a drink. Do you think this is true or just a theory?
I think it is true. I have seen crows get bread I have thrown out and put it on top of my husband's storage building and other crows come by to share it. A crow was once on the ice walking sideways to get some bread I had thrown out. I tried to throw it where there was no snow to help them. The crow would manage to get it. I think they are smart enough to put pebbles in a pitcher to get water. They are an omen but I believe they are smart and can warn us when something is wrong. I like that movie: "The Crow." They can be a pet. When crows are all around, other bird species scatter. I don't think a scarecrow scares crows. This is my theory.
