Prompt: Write about a time you acted first and thought later, giving into your impulses.
Buying things I didn't need. I bought two purses and didn't want them afterwards. I gave them to my mother. I finally bought the purse that I really wanted. A expensive silk comforter with throw pillows. Now I like my old country quilt ones.
Wishing I would have spent my time with my grandparents. I wish an impulse would have let me see them more.
Took off on a shopping trip with my mother to buy a Vintage Midge Doll and didn't leave my husband a note to tell him where I was and cell phones were slowly making their way into people's lives but no one had one. I couldn't call my husband. There were tornado warnings out and it was stormy and I regretted not leaving him a note. He was so scared. I had to have a Vintage Midge doll at a store 45 minutes away. With cell phones now, my husband calls me and I call him and he knows where I am.
