Beach, Roses And A Dog
Prompt: After a walk on the beach, you come back to your chair and find a red rose placed on your chair.
I would hope it would be from my husband but if it was from a handsome life guard or a secret admirer, I would be flattered. It is a big brown dog who has run past me and leaves me another red rose. I pet him and kiss his nose and hug him. He is beautifu. I follow the dog to see where he is getting the roses. He is stealing them from a beach house flower garden. I knock on the door and a woman answers. Her dog Bloomer steals roses from her garden all the time. She brings Bloomer into the house. I go back to my chair and read my Nook. It is quiet. I need to go home and I pack up my stuff. I go home and my husband has left me twelve lavender roses in a vase. I have two secret admirers today.
