Smile Lights Up Someone Else's Day
Prompt: Your smile lights up someone else's day. Write a poem or short story about it.
I have no prompt or shorty story but I will write for this prompt. I thanked a lady for being a bell ringer for Salvation Army and she says she loves doing it. She smiled and I smiled and I gave some money in the pot. The mentally ill people I take care of. I try to be nice and patient and they may never have the life they want so if I can make them smile or laugh, I feel good. Maybe my smile has lit up their day. I hope so. When some of my patients tell me think I am pretty, I smile.
People smile at me and I smile back. A smile is better then a frown or grouchy response. Smile. It makes the world a better place. With all the evil going on, we need to smile. I hope my smile and being nice, helps make someone's day.
