Reminiscing...
I had an interesting experience once: My life flashed before my eyes. Actually, it was like clicking through scenes from my life with one of those old timey view-master toys.
When I tell folks this, for some reason they immediately tend to think I saw all the bad things I ever did. That was not the case at all.
Mostly, I saw lots and lots and lots of mundane scenes: brushing my teeth, folding laundry, the kind of things we do quite often.
As I reminisce, I need to sift through and pick out the special moments -- and cherish them.
