What’s it like inside your tamborine?
Every time I get close
to the prize, you
walk away, leaving me
like it was all a dream.
Long days, lonely nights,
sitting all alone, by the phone
waiting for your tamborine.
No call, no show, guess
That I’ll just have to find
A way to get in between.
There you are,
smiling at me from the
pages of a magazine.
That’s all I need to
imagine myself inside
your tamborine.
