What I Do In Remembrance Of People No Longer With Us
Prompt: Lyn asked what do we do in remembrance of people who are no longer with us.
My husband and I put silk flowers on his parents' graves. My mother makes a nice wreath of silk flowers for my grandparents' graves. Their graves are side by side. I put silk flowers in a cat planter on my cat Tigger's grave next to the corn field. My mother puts silk flowers on her pets' graves.
I pray for family and friends I lost. If I get another book published, I am going to dedicate it to two friends of mine who died. My great grandma's name is on a on ledger at The Statue Of Liberty and so are my name, my husband and son. I have special certificates with the Statue Of Liberty to certify this is true.
I don't get to the cemetery like I should. People I love who died live in my heart.
