Pumpkins and Art
Prompt: Many people showcase their pumpkins like art objects of porcelain or pottery. Do you display your pumpkins like art work?
I enjoy my pumpkins and I put the white ones and orange ones together and they do like art work when I get done. Pumpkins have a short life so I enjoy them everyday while I have them. I like seeing how people display pumpkins in magazines and this gives a yard the autumn feeling. Gourds of green and salmon colored do look like a work of art. I like when I put my pumpkins out, it is the fact that I created this arrangement.
Some people carve pumpkins and I see a white one in a magazine painted with red and blue flowers. THAT is art. I wish I had the talent to do this to a white pumpkin. Decorating pumpkins is art work and displaying pumpkins like this is like wow. How pretty! I will be decorating with pumpkins in 2 weeks. I like that idea. I will be replacing my flowers. I don't think flowers and pumpkins should be displayed together. Flowers are a work of art, too and they last all summer. Now, it is time for pumpkins. I am ready.
