My God Is Alive
When life is at it's lowest
He is the one closest
When I need love
He surpasses all - from above
When I feel fear
His strength is always near
When my doubt stops me
His miracles work within me
When I think my prayers are not heard
He tells me to stand on His Word
When my world fills with chaos and strife
He gives a calming peace to my life
When there are answers I need to know
He says trust first – then I will show
When I tell Him I need more time - too
He says today is given to you
When I am downcast and out
He tells me to ride it out
When I ask His forgiveness once more
He promises not to remember my sin anymore.
When I'm finding His answers are the better way
He is abiding within - lighting my day
