day 23- rainy
| What is the best way to spend a rainy afternoon? Writing. Well, more specifically writing what I want to write as opposed to what I have to write for someone else- but really I'll take either over housework or a root canal. Other than that and reading (they kind of go together I suppose)- I love to cook on a rainy afternoon. Especially comfort foods, preferably something you've gotta cook for a few hours so it makes the whole house smell awesome. Naps on the couch are always good on a rainy afternoon, except for the whole time travel thing where you fall asleep only for something to startle you awake, and you think hours have passed but really it's only been about 15 minutes. Yeah, I don't love that. Some of the best sex I've ever had has been during rainy afternoons, so I like that too. (Sorry for the TMI, but you asked...) -TPB |

About This Author
Born in the mountains. Raised by nomads. Lived in 11 cities in 9 states. Wife. Mother. Prefer to spend my time writing fantasy, supernatural, maybe some sci fi if I can get away with it, horror, comedy for sketch, standup, monologue, short stories. Oh, and I really, really, really love to read. I perform improv and standup because someone smarter than me said it would help make my writing better. I hope you find my brain worlds entertaining.
