	Church Practices
Prompt: What church practices do you remember being important when you were a child?

Going to Bible School. Going to Vacation Bible School. It was fun to make crafts. Singing for the church with other children at Christmas and Easter. Sometimes, being in a Christmas Pageant when I got a chance. Going to church with Grandma. Sit down and shut up. I did. No clapping in church or talking in church sermons. When I was a teenager, my two friends and I were at a special celebration and the adults were downstairs. My two friends and I were upstairs by Jesus' picture, we pretended like we married The Monkees. I married Mickey Dolenz, Mary Ann married Davey Jones and Cathy married Peter Tork. I did join Youth Group. We had fun. We had a bon fire outside, sang songs and learned about Jesus. It was a fun time. You get older, you worship differently. You get closer to Jesus, the older you get.
