I am a professional musician  , worship leader , small business owner , songwriter , aspiring author and freelance nonfiction writer with a chemical engineering degree .
But that's just my resume.
My profile of qualifications is only one of the ways in which I am unique. Here I chronicle my personal and professional goals and my efforts to achieve them. Occasionally I fail. Mostly, I take daily baby steps toward all my long-term goals. Much like the stories I pen, the songs I compose, and the businesses I run, I am always a work in progress.

I've fallen down a rabbit hole, and odder still, it's snowing down here.
Launch one new Potbelly song per week.
 Goal met.
Post at WordPress at least once per month.
 Pending.
Launch one new Praise Band song per month.
Goal met.
 one new original song per month.
Pending.
Earn at least $75 per pay period at Textbroker.

Current Balance: $21.00. Pending client acceptance: $14.00. In progress: $8.40. Due date: 12/20/09.
Earn at least $25 per month at Helium.
In progress.
Current Balance: $19.00. Due date: 12/24/09.
Resign from Abbott by 6/1/10.
In progress and on schedule. I'm ahead of schedule, actually, thanks to the abrupt and unexpected resignation of my Praise Band co-directing partner and long-time friend, Emily. I mentioned it a couple days ago, and how it means that I have full responsibility as director. Naturally, that comes with twice the salary as well as twice the work.
But it's just weird.
Still, she has some things to work out at home, so I wish her the best as she gets her life straightened out. And since we still teach lessons together at the studio, we should see each other regularly enough. Bless her heart for getting me the job there in the first place!
