Brandiwyn🎶Prep starts 10/1! Author Icon, also known as Michelle Tuesday, is a musician, educator and writer hailing from Columbus, Ohio.
La Bene Vita
I am a professional musician  Open in new Window., worship leader  Open in new Window., small business owner  Open in new Window., songwriter  Open in new Window., aspiring author  Open in new Window. and freelance nonfiction writer  Open in new Window. with a chemical engineering degree  Open in new Window..

But that's just my resume.

My profile of qualifications is only one of the ways in which I am unique. Here I chronicle my personal and professional goals and my efforts to achieve them. Occasionally I fail. Mostly, I take daily baby steps toward all my long-term goals. Much like the stories I pen, the songs I compose, and the businesses I run, I am always a work in progress.

Hmm... I got a lot done this morning, but still managed to procrastinate on my weekly blog post. The day is not yet over...

Reach 300 students at MTMS  Open in new Window. by 12/31/11:
*Writing* And more enrollments. It's like: Grow! Psych. Grow! Psych. Oh, but check this out: We bought a piano. Yippee! It should be here shortly.

Compile book inventory:
*Pencil* No activity.

Pick scheduling database by 7/31/11:
*Writing* No activity, even though this occasionally annoys the crap out of me. (Or maybe that's just all the fiber talking.)

Reading: One book per week.
*Writing* I "read" in the car. I have decided, 33% of the way through the book (who the hell knows how many pages that is), that "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" is possibly the Most. Boring. Book. Ever. But OCD as I am, I must force myself to finish it before moving on to the next book. Isn't that stupid? ...especially considering how efficient I usually am with my time. *Pthb*

Writing:
(1) *Check* Blog at WDC daily: Up to date.
(2) *Writing* Blog at MT.com  Open in new Window. by the end of Wednesday: Pending.
(3) *Thumbsdown* 30 minutes of daily freestyle writing: None. I slept in again.

Count points:
Today: 6
