Keith's brother is in the hospital again. *Frown* He has blood clots in his lungs, which is interfering with his ability to breathe.

Random temporary goal: PAY TAXES BY 4/15!
{e:FAIL} I *forgot* to go to the post office after Potbelly, damn it. Okay, I put a calendar reminder in my phone for today.

Write one Textbroker article per weekday.
*Check* Goal met, and holy crap there are a lot of OpenOrders.

Meet other writing goals.
*Bullet* MochaNotes.com  Open in new Window. list: I set up Google Adwords and activated a "free" GoDaddy advertising credit worth $75. Google made me pay a $5 activation fee that didn't come out of the $75 credit, plus they have a minimum charge of $10 on my credit card, so I paid $10 out of pocket for $80 worth of advertising. I created one ad and set up the keywords to trigger the ad. You pay per click, so the money just hangs out in your account until people click on your ad, and then Google deducts the payment for the click.

...and so far, I've had 350 "impressions" (page loads with my ad embedded on the page) and zero clicks. Apparently, those are bad stats, because a typical CTR ("click-through rate" - percentage of impressions that result in a click) is 2%. So, apparently, I suck at advertising.

Good to know.
