I am a professional musician  , worship leader , small business owner , songwriter , aspiring author and freelance nonfiction writer with a chemical engineering degree .
But that's just my resume.
My profile of qualifications is only one of the ways in which I am unique. Here I chronicle my personal and professional goals and my efforts to achieve them. Occasionally I fail. Mostly, I take daily baby steps toward all my long-term goals. Much like the stories I pen, the songs I compose, and the businesses I run, I am always a work in progress.

 I have one due at 7am tomorrow morning.

 Dabbling in Domesticity : Between Storm Machine  and me, we'll have posts scheduled through Monday here shortly.
SEO efforts: Still working on Domesticity, but I at least got a few ads posted. Meanwhile, look out, Google: Facebook Optimization may be the new SEO
Launch one new performance repertoire song per week.

Write one new original song per month.
Goal met: Hey, Baby
Brand the biz(es.)
Goal met. Filled out a credit app for the property lease. 
15 minutes of small biz research per day.
I'm taking down this goal. I'm not even sure what it means anymore. I work on the biz(es) every damn day. Although, I do need some structure around work. This working from home stuff is a pain. When the twelve-year-old gets off the bus, nothing else gets done for the day. And I'm definitely most productive in the morning, sleepy in the afternoon, and busy spending time with family in the evening. It will help when I'm teaching lessons more often in the late afternoon. Maybe I can throw a couch in my office at the school and take a nap after Potbelly every day. 
Perform one household chore per day.
Goal met: Dishes, and -um- dishes. (The latter of which is a euphamism.  )
REINSTATED GOAL: Read a book in print 15 minutes every day.
Goal met. I'm reading the first Percy Jackson book.
Achieve a weight of 145.0 by 6/1/10.
{e:FAILINGMISERABLY}, but I have a plan. I made a deal with the boy, and it starts on Monday.
