Brandiwyn🎶Prep starts 10/1! Author Icon, also known as Michelle Tuesday, is a musician, educator and writer hailing from Columbus, Ohio.
La Bene Vita
I am a professional musician  Open in new Window., worship leader  Open in new Window., small business owner  Open in new Window., songwriter  Open in new Window., aspiring author  Open in new Window. and freelance nonfiction writer  Open in new Window. with a chemical engineering degree  Open in new Window..

But that's just my resume.

My profile of qualifications is only one of the ways in which I am unique. Here I chronicle my personal and professional goals and my efforts to achieve them. Occasionally I fail. Mostly, I take daily baby steps toward all my long-term goals. Much like the stories I pen, the songs I compose, and the businesses I run, I am always a work in progress.

Post at WordPress at least once per week.
*Check*Goal met.

Write one Helium or Textbroker article per week.
*Check*Goal met. This was actually met yesterday, and I forgot to mention. I wrote an article for Textbroker worth $15.26 on Wednesday, which was accepted by the client yesterday, so, woo-hoo! I wrote another two articles worth $5.60 apiece yesterday; one has been accepted, and the other is pending acceptance.

I've also been "Leapfrogging" my articles at Helium to try and boost my score. I've had a couple rejected, which bummed me out because it looked like my only shot at fixing an article. However, help@helium.com informs me that I can try again after seven days. I'm thinking about doing an end-of-month push to get a bunch of Helium articles written, but I'm just not sure when.

Textbroker seems like the easier way to earn money. It's small money, but I've found a couple articles that were easy to write.

For any considering checking it out, be aware that it's basically a ghost writing service. The client posts a request for an article with the offered price, you sign up for the job, you write the article, the client either accepts or rejects your article, and if it's accepted, you get paid the offer price. At that point, the article is no longer yours. The client owns the rights.
