My profile of qualifications is only one of the ways in which I am unique. Here I chronicle my personal and professional goals and my efforts to achieve them. Occasionally I fail. Mostly, I take daily baby steps toward all my long-term goals. Much like the stories I pen, the songs I compose, and the businesses I run, I am always a work in progress.

*Check*Goal met. I edited through Chapter 2. Have I mentioned? There are 31 chapters, at least, pre-edit.

I've started thinking about my NaNo project for this year, too, and y'all should do the same! In just three little months I'll be promoting "October Novel Prep ChallengeOpen in new Window. [13+], so you'll want to know which brilliant plot concept you'll be focusing on this year.

I may give Andromeda Sings another go, and try to do the Prep activities myself this year. I can do it if I delegate the contest round judging.

Complete and edit "Poor WitchOpen in new Window. [E] by 6/30/09.
In progress! *Delight* And if I want to work on a new NaNo project this year, I need to get Poor Witch done on time.

Read a book in print for fifteen minutes every day.
*Check*Goal met. Still reading Midnight Hours by Vivian Author Icon. The suspense is sucking me in. A very good whodunit. *Thumbsup*

Resign from Abbott by 12/1/09.
In progress, though I have a tentative Plan B that takes me through March, using all my vacation time to take off full days on Tuesday instead of the half days I'm taking now. It's not necessary for me to afford to leave, but it gives me a nicer cushion. Nice cushions are good for things like entrepreneurial investment opportunities. I figure I'll decide around 12/1/09 if I want to stick it out a couple more months.

*looks up at the entry title* Is it Tuesday already? I only work a half day at Abbott today. Ah, bliss.

ASIDE: The birds are still going after the cat food, which I set on the deck, and that means the birds are crawling over my deck and pergola. That might be nice for bird watching, except they shit all over the decking and furniture. *Pthb* *kicks*
