But that's just my resume.

My profile of qualifications is only one of the ways in which I am unique. Here I chronicle my personal and professional goals and my efforts to achieve them. Occasionally I fail. Mostly, I take daily baby steps toward all my long-term goals. Much like the stories I pen, the songs I compose, and the businesses I run, I am always a work in progress.

Work on music instruction books for fifteen minutes per day.
*Check*Goal met. Woo-hoo! I planned and outlined guitar lessons.

Launch one new Potbelly song per week.
*Check*Goal met. I launched "The Fool on the Hill" yesterday.

Write one new original song per month.
*Check*Goal met. No, seriously. I set "LongingOpen in new Window. [13+] to music at Potbelly, at least in my head, although I didn't actually sing it aloud (yet.) I will, by the end of the week, which will make another *Check* for the goal above. *Bigsmile*

Post at WordPress at least once per week.
Pending.

Write one Textbroker article per week.
*Check*Goal met. I wrote 350-word two articles yesterday worth $5 apiece.

Submit one short story/article per month.
Pending. The jury is still out on last month's submission of "The Butterfly Stone."

Work for fifteen minutes on "Poor WitchOpen in new Window. [E] every day.
Fail... but considering all the check marks compared to yesterday, I'm doing okay. This one may have to wait until after I leave Abbott next year, along with my other two novel projects. If you count my meager writing income, I have five jobs. *Pthb*

On the other hand, I am waiting for a novel review by H.C.Paye - All I Need Author Icon.

Complete and edit "Poor WitchOpen in new Window. [E] by 6/30/09.
Fail.

Read a book in print for fifteen minutes every day.
*Check*Goal met.

Resign from Abbott by 12/1/09.
In progress. I got a call from a guy (LouisLuis) who saw me at Potbelly a few months ago and asked for my number. I'm going to meet with him (a drummer) and his buddy (acoustic guitarist and singer) on Sunday to jam, just to see what comes of it. They want to form a cover band and gig around town. As in, for *Dollar*. I'll let y'all know if they're any good! Would this count as job #6? LOL. Technically, I count all my freelance gigs as one job, so Potbelly and any other paying gigs around town would be lumped together. But, still. I'm getting a smidge busy, people. What's left of my free time after keeping up with my jobs and goals is strictly Keith/family time. He has the kids this weekend, and I'll barely see them because of my hours. *Frown*
