How to make changes...

If I could change myself, I would not need a Savior. I John 1:9 tells me that if I will confess my sins to Him, God will cleanse me of all unrighteousness. What is sin? What is unrighteousness? For me, sin is anything outside God's will for me. These days, as I deal with my relationship with food, I believe God is prompting me to eat mindfully -- versus watching a video while I eat and other such things. Forgiveness My morning blurb this morning is going to be about forgiveness. I am blessed to be able to forgive. I remember the exact moment I realized that. As a child, the importance of forgiving others was made known to me through the Bible story about the rich man who forgave a debt. The debtor then went out and, instead of paying it forward as we say today, demanded full repayment of a debt owed him. The rich man heard of it and the once forgiven man was chastised.
