I am a 40 year old married mother of two teenage boys. I live for writing, especially romance. Love the happily ever after scenerio. The best thing about writing for me is the ability to lose yourself in your work, and feel as if you've accomplished something great. At the end of the day, that's all that really matters.

Poisoned Purple Pen

She sat down at her old wooden desk, pen at the ready. Her thoughts raced. What shall I write today? Tilting her head to the side, a small smile tugged at the corner of her mouth before enveloping her delicate face. The purple ink began to fill the once blank sheet, each stroke a labor of pure joy as the words flowed from her mind, her heart, her very soul.

My Dreams...

to write of romance and endless love
to love without boundaries
to learn from past mistakes
to laugh with all my heart
to be the woman I am meant to be

TODAY...

I will reach for the stars

Will not give up

Will give all that I have

Dare to dream the impossible dream

For anything in this life is possible

WellT T, firstly, you can keep that snow. Luckily here in my part of the UK we don't get much usually.

Now, I know you're hurting, but there is a little upside of not being able to work or do the normal stuff, and that is it should allow you a bit more creative time to do some writing, No?

It appears you haven't got your fix of Bond, but as you know, Sci the Spy is always lurking lol.

I do hope you and yours have a very merry Chrishtmas and a wonderful new year.

We had our first snowfall of the year here last night. The forecast was 'a coating to an inch' - and coating barely sufficed. it was weird to see the neighboring roofs painted white, but nothing on my back lawn except along the western fence line. It's all gone now, of course, but more's coming. Skinned knees and elbows are always problematic, since you use them to do almost everything, so there's little respite. Take care of yourself as best you can, and thank God for your live-at-home son.

Ouch! That hurtle through the air didn't hurt it was the sudden , aggressive stop on concrete. I hope you heal quickly and without further injury.

Prompt:
Tell us a story! Not including your WDC handle or offsite accounts elsewhere, have you ever had to (or tried to) use a fake name before? Have you ever given someone a false phone number or address, maybe to get out of an awkward situation? Has it ever come back to haunt you?

This kind of fast thinking may have helped me out over the years. Nope, I'm the blunt one, remember??? I never tried to lie about my name and if I didn't want you to have my number, you wouldn't be getting it from me. Besides the fact that our phone number was in the phone book so it wasn't hard to get if you knew where I lived.

I suck at lying. Honestly I do. So I learned early on not to even bother because it always came back and bit me. HARD!
