About This Author
My name is Joy, and I love to write. Why poetry, here? Because poetry uplifts its writer, and if she is lucky enough, her readers, too. Around us, so many objects abound to write about. Once a poet starts with a smallest, most trivial object, he shall discover that his pen will spill out what is most delicate or most majestic hidden inside him. Since the classics sometimes dealt with lofty subjects with a lofty language, a person with poetry in his soul may incline to emulate that. That is understandable. Poetry does that to a person: it enlarges the soul and gives it wings. Yet, to really soar, a poet needs to take off from the ground. Kiya's gift. I love it!
Daily Cascade
Since my old blog "Everyday Canvas became overfilled, here's a new one. This new blog item will continue answering prompts, the same as the old one.

Prompt:
What is your favorite time of day and why? Write about this in your Blog entry today.

---------

My favorite time of the day is after 9:00 PM. Over the years, I found out that the human body has an amazing biological clock ticking inside it. In my case, I have to set it to a routine for it to work well. So within my routine, relaxing a couple of hours or more before sleeping helps me greatly.

Also at 9:00 PM, I don't have to deal with anything that has to do with chores and I am ready to relax. More than chores and obligations, however, after 9:00 PM, I don't get those annoying "let's scam the elderly" calls, mostly from "unknown" or fake names that are out to give me chronic stress, so after 9 PM, there is peace in my world.

Some people go to sleep around this time. Not me. This is my down time when I sit on my bed, read, or check the internet, or play a word game or two on my pad. As the result, before or around midnight, I'm relaxed enough to go to sleep.
