Simon and Garfunkel Prompt
by A Non-Existent User
This is a very rough draft based on "My Little Town". I apologize in advance for the cheese factor, and I assure you that not all my work is this sappy. This poem just went that way for some reason. ![]() In my little town there's a grassy knoll that's seen a lot of frisbees and touch-football games but no dead presidents as far as I know. In my little town children play in yards and streets far from danger yet near to my heart. In my little town we've never felt the need for a vice squad and murders are distant rumors. In my little town I buy lemonade on street corners And order cookies from my porch In my little town we know our neighbors and Rockwell's vision Is a reality. |
