About This Author
My name is Joy, and I love to write. Why poetry, here? Because poetry uplifts its writer, and if she is lucky enough, her readers, too. Around us, so many objects abound to write about. Once a poet starts with a smallest, most trivial object, he shall discover that his pen will spill out what is most delicate or most majestic hidden inside him. Since the classics sometimes dealt with lofty subjects with a lofty language, a person with poetry in his soul may incline to emulate that. That is understandable. Poetry does that to a person: it enlarges the soul and gives it wings. Yet, to really soar, a poet needs to take off from the ground. ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only **

April Come She Will...
by A Non-Existent User
April Come She Will

April come she will;
Sweetly sung aria;
March’s grand finale
Shall crescendo winter’s hold.

Sing joyful and dance;
Hibernating life, arise;
Worship while the sun is warm.

Soon autumn winds shall blow
The icy ballet of slumber.
Despise not this time of silence
For April come she will, again.

SONG: April Come She Will

April come she will
When streams are ripe and swelled with rain
May she will stay
Resting in my arms again

June she'll change her tune
In restless walks she'll prowl the night
July she will fly
And give no warning of her flight

August die she must
The autumn winds blow chilly and cold
September I'll remember
A love once new has now grown old
