I agree with the three of you. This is a writing site, for heaven's sake! If a person can't take the time to write properly here, how do they ever expect to be published? Yes, I use LOL and other little well-known abbreviations in causual writing, but when I write to a stranger I am always respectful of both the person I'm writing to and our beautiful English language.
