I'm disappointed not to see people volunteering to judge for the contest rounds. I did last year. Brandiwyn🎶Prep starts 10/1! provides a great challenge to prep for NaNoWriMo out of her pocket - giving up to two merit badges for anyone who succeeds. She read everything last year. (Can you imagine?) She also helped about 2/3 of her challengers succeed with NaNo!

I think it'd be great if a few people could give back to her a little bit of what she's giving to us. Donations are wonderful to help with the burden of Merit Badges, but what about a couple judges for the rounds? It isn't a lot of work.

If you're curious why I haven't volunteered again, I have a baby this year who takes up all of my time.
