I did read some good advice this morning in the short stories newsletter by Shannon . She said there is insipration everywhere and a good way to get over writer's block is to just go somewhere and people watch. Pick someone or a circumstance you see and try to imagine the story around them.
Or...you can do what I always do and that is beg and plead for my muse to come back.
