I am currently using my travel journals to write a fiction story.
The bottom line is a story about a person overseas on a work exchange, so thoughts, feelings and what it is like to be overseas. My character takes on my story, as I decided that would be more fun and I can change around what I like.

One example, spending time on long haul flights is part of a travelers time. And this is perfect for writting down thoughts and feelings relating to all sorts of things. How can i write about those things that make up the time spent in a tin can, rather then having my character write in her journal, which i mentain below.

One idea I have come up with in my stuck mode, is inserting parts of my characters journal(which is really my journal) throughout the book. So would like some thoughts/ feelings/ ideas on this. It is my choice what i end up doing, but what you have to say will help me with more thinking and other things I may need to consider.
